west German 8 day cuckoo clock

 this lovely cuckoo clock worked well all the time we were in france   bring it back to England it only cuck didn't coo. it appeared that one of the connecting rods came off and has got jammed so this will need to be seen to. as the clock keeps good time but the cuckoo and the door is jammed open , the wooden carving has a hunting theme and I believe that there are 2 small white plastic pieces missing from the hunting horn  and I see these can be bought on eBay, I think at one time the bellows have been repaired but all the rest of the clock  is good. It is complete with weights chains and pendulum. it is tamped west Germany and on the back plate it is marked 8 day   the lock measures 30 cms. drop  plus weights and chains 25 cms in width.  Carriage is bit expensive due to the 2 weights and 2/3 day carriage is    10.75 [Read more]
